ABOUT PAINTRESS APRIL

April Deming was born in Indiana in 1970.  She attended St. Francis University and studied Art History, where she gained a great appreciation for Renaissance art and the techniques used by the Old Masters. 

April has been painting since 1992 and had her first solo show in 1999 in Scottsdale, Arizona.  A few years later she started showing her work on Canyon Road and moved her studio to Santa Fe, where she now lives.  New Mexico is where she feels most at home both as a mom to her loving son and as a professional full-time artist.
